Tata Safari 2021
The All-New Tata Safari 2021 flagship SUV has reportedly been teased by Tata Motors on its social media site. The SUV is anticipated to be launched very soon in India.
The All-New Tata Safari 2021 will be introduced in India on 26 January 2021 and will be available with a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine Recently, Tata Motors announced that the three-row version of the Harrier (formerly Gravitas) will be known as the Safari. While several individuals are ecstatic about the revival of the famous ‘Safari’ nameplate, some are cynical about it.
The SUV is set for launch later this month, however. A teaser image has been posted online by the carmaker, showing the front end of the car. The grille style is very elegant, with tri-arrow chrome-plated elements pointing towards the centre, while the center of the grille is decorated with the Tata emblem. This is very distinct from what was recently seen at the Car Expo 2020 exhibition at Gravitas.
It was first featured in the shape of Buzzard at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, however. The soon-to-be-launched Safari 2021 will be based on the architecture of OMEGARC (Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced Architecture), which underpins the Harrier 5-seater as well. It is derived from the platform of the D8 Land Rover. The all-new Safari alias Gravitas SUV will be put at the top of the product portfolio to be based on Tata’s effect 2.0 concept concept.
As far as the architecture is concerned, just to separate two SUVs, the upcoming Safari could bear slight design improvements on the outer front. The SUV with the tri-arrow style concept will get a new front grille. In comparison, it will be 70 mm longer than the younger sibling and will remain the same in width and wheelbase. We can also see a new paint option for the outer body and a new alloy wheel style of All-New Tata Safari 2021.
The All-New Tata Safari 2021 will launch in India on 26th January 2021, and will be available with a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine.
